How to value a trade fairly
A trade is fair when both sides total about the same in your own valuation. The verdict bands used here: within ±5% is fair game, ±5–15% slightly favors one side, and beyond that it's a lopsided trade that needs a sweetener. Those bands are negotiation conventions, not game rules — but they match how most servers actually haggle.
Three things the totals won't capture. Rarity anchors: check the pet tier list so a Mythic doesn't get valued like a Legendary. Demand: a pet everyone wants this week trades above its tier. Your goals: if the pet completes your collection, paying a small premium is fine — value is personal.
