But here is the part almost nobody tells you: the egg’s name is not a guaranteed pet. We watched two sessions with that egg:
- One player hatched theirs straight — out came the Phoenix at $83M/s.
- Another player ran their volcano egg through The Great Bloom first (the Sakura Incubator mutation event) and hatched a Bloom Lava Dragon at $464M/s — a different species entirely, carrying the Bloom mutation.

An earlier session (different player, different economy) captured the sell-confirmation popup: “Would you like to sell pet Phoenix for $8B?”. It is the only verified sell figure for the pet.
